Elska = darlingLjósstjarna = bright or shining star
Elska was the third-born puppy
in the litter, the " middle child". Her birth was an exciting
moment because she came after two red puppies and we could tell as soon
as she slipped out that we had a black tri-color puppy. Since
both parents are red sables, we didn't know for sure if we'd get
any black tri puppies until we saw Elska :) Elska at 4 days old - on top of Mom :)
Elska is always reminded me of her mother in physical appearance and sweetness, a gentle and loving puppy and I didn't mind at all keeping her until early January until she could be shipped to B.C. to her new owner. Lots of fun playing and snuggling with her mom and sister!
We are very fortunate that
Elska found an active performance, show/breeding home and will be
training and participating in several activities including agility and
conformation showing. She has children in her family who enjoy
her very much. Elska has a long-hair coat with good texture, she has a narrow blaze like her sire and she has a zig-zag white collar, wide on one side, narrow on the other, a white chest, and white paws. Elska's tri markings are silvery-cream, showing the influence of the chinchilla gene inherited from grand-sire Kolur. She seems to have an extensive black mask like her mother, since she does not show the typical tri-color eyebrow markings. She has lovely silvery-cream markings on the underside of her tail and on her rear legs.
I am pleased that I will be a co-breeder of Elska's first litter, although we won't be getting a puppy from that litter, I do get to help select the stud and it will be our wonderful co-owned male puppy Belglen Undri Ari, pending health clearances.
