"Kona" was the second-born of the puppies.    He is a red sable medium-coat puppy with a black mask, white patch on his head with a "Tinni spot" like his grand-dam Frigg.    Kona's future owners contacted us when he was  a few days old and they were some of the first visitors the puppies had.  It was a great match, although Kona was so sleepy during their visits they must have wondered if they were getting a lazy dog!   Not so at all, Kona is quite active,  extremely friendly and of course was a star in his puppy classes.   He loves the hiking and the outdoor activities that his owners do.  

We met up with Kona again in the summer when our girls were entered in a UKC show and mother, sister and brother  had a great, playful reunion.   I was so pleased when Kona's owners brought him to a Herding Instinct test in November and he passed.  It was very cute to watch his test, once he spotted the sheep he was so entranced he lay down with his head between the fence slats to watch them. 

Kona also tried out some agility equipment for the very first time, I think this sport may be in his future!
